SAN MARTIN, CA. Feb. 3, 2003- A new fashion accessory
product called the BeltIt is changing the way women look at accessorizing
with belts. It finally solves the problem of keeping belts in place without
the need for belt loops. It works equally well when the wearer wants to
add a larger belt over smaller loops. This nagging problem of belts riding
up when sitting or bending has caused women to struggle with function
over fashion for decades, and as a result many have avoided wearing belts.
This new and unique product eliminates these problems entirely.
Stephani Lewis, President and Founder of FashionRage, Inc., was formerly
in a high-tech sales career where dressing in a polished manner was essential.
"I came up with the idea after years of struggling with wearing belts
with suits and other clothing that did not have belt loops. The belts
simply did not stay in place. I needed a solution, so I designed and wore
a home-produced version of the BeltIt. So many women asked me if I could
make one for them that I decided it was time to bring it to market."
BeltIt allows women to express their own personal style by effortlessly
accessorizing nearly any ensemble with a belt. Fashion sense dictates
that adding accessories creates a polished look. Complimenting an outfit
with a belt quite simply completes it. Plus, belts are a big fashion trend
this year, especially wide belts worn over loopless slacks
In a down economy, women tend to shy away from buying new apparel, and
instead simply choose to update their wardrobe with new accessories. The
BeltIt couldnt have come to market at a more perfect time. It is
available in 7 different colors to coordinate with most belts and attire.
It is designed to be unseen; works with any fabric type from silk to leather,
and wont harm fabrics. It retails for under $20 and is the perfect
up-sell product for belt retailers and should actually increase belt sales.
The BeltIt will be featured in the May 03 issue of Essence Magazine,
and is soon to be available in Hilton Hotel gift shops. It may also be
purchased on-line at the company web site: www.fashionrage.net.
