Q: Who’s the PowerCycle for?

A: Anyone who wants to rediscover the fun of cycling! PowerCycle is tailored to riders who do most of their riding under 15 mph and want to climb hills more easily.

Q: Why electric?
A: The PowerCycle is quiet, fun and easier to ride. Advances in battery and motor technology have made higher
performance levels more affordable. Recharging cost is under a dime.

Q: Do I have to pedal to obtain a power boost?
A: Yes, you automatically get extra power without
complex controls.

Q: How far can the PowerCycle go?
A: Battery range can exceed 19 miles per charge. Terrain,
rider weight, tire inflation pressure, and how much you pedal affect results.

Q: How fast can the PowerCycle go?
A: Maximum assist speed is 15 mph. You get the strongest power boost when starting from a stop or climbing hills. To maximize range, the assist decreases as speed increases. To keep power assist on, try shifting to a higher gear and pedaling slower.

Q: What are the battery options?
A: Sealed gel Lead Acid (LA) battery is standard, weighs 18 pounds, and provides about 300 recharge cycles. Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery weighs 10 pounds, offers more range, charges quicker, and provides about 500 recharge cycles.

Q: How do I recharge the battery?
A: Simply plug the charger into an outlet. LA battery takes about 4 hours to recharge and NiMH about 2.5 hours. Recharge after each use.

Q: Would an athlete enjoy the PowerCycle?
